What makes a real Greek gyro
Warm pita, house-made tzatziki
A gyro (say it “YEE-roh”) is seasoned meat served on warm pita with tzatziki, tomato and onion. Ours goes out hot and generously filled — classic beef-and-lamb, chicken or beef steak.
Then comes the part that matters: a warm, pillowy pita, our house-made tzatziki (thick Greek yogurt with cucumber, garlic and dill), ripe tomato and sliced red onion. That’s it — the way three generations of our Greek family have made it since 2004.
It’s the same kitchen behind our New-England Greek-style pan pizza — the Greek half of the menu that’s always been here, now front and center.
