This policy explains what Eleni’s Pizza Works collects when you visit elenispizzaworks.com, place an order, or hear from us by email, and who else sees that information. What we collect
When you order. Online ordering runs on GloriaFood. To take and deliver an order we collect your name, phone number, email address, delivery address when you choose delivery, and the contents of the order. Card payments are handled by our payment processor — full card numbers never reach this website and we do not store them.
When you phone us. We take the same order details by phone, and they are stored in our point-of-sale system.
When you browse. Our analytics and advertising tools record pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.
Cookies and measurement tools
These run on our pages:
- Google Analytics 4 — how the site is used, in aggregate.
- Google Ads — whether an ad led to an order, so we do not keep paying for advertising that does not work.
- Meta pixel — the same measurement for ads on Facebook and Instagram, and audiences for those ads.
- GloriaFood — the ordering widget sets its own cookies to keep your cart and order.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser. The site still works; the ordering widget may ask you to sign in again.
Information we send to advertising platforms
Beyond the pixel in your browser, our server sends Meta a record of completed orders through the Meta Conversions API, and sends Google Analytics the same events. Personal details in those records — email address, phone number, name, postal code and country — are hashed before they leave our server, meaning they are converted into an irreversible string. Meta uses them only to match an order to an ad it showed. Your IP address and browser user agent are sent as well, which is how these platforms have always worked.
We do this so we can tell which advertising actually produces orders. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Email from us
If you have ordered from us, we may email you offers or a reminder that we miss you. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough — you do not have to explain yourself. We do not send marketing text messages.
Who else handles your information
- GloriaFood — online ordering.
- Our payment processor — card payments.
- Our point-of-sale provider — order and receipt records.
- Meta and Google — advertising measurement, as described above.
- Our email delivery provider — sending the messages you have subscribed to.
Each of them acts on our instructions. We also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records stay in our point-of-sale system as long as our accounting and tax obligations require. Marketing contact details stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data expires on the schedule set by Google and Meta.
Your choices
- Stop the email. Use the unsubscribe link, or write to us and we will remove you.
- See or delete what we hold. Email [email protected] or call (941) 758-8700. We may need to confirm it is really you before we act, and we may have to keep records the law requires us to keep.
- Limit ad tracking. Facebook and Instagram ad settings and Google’s Ads Settings both let you control how your activity is used for advertising.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
